Il Direttore del settimanale della Diocesi di Trento, “Vita Trentina”, ha chiesto al nostro confratello p. Gabriele Ferrari di condividere una breve riflessione sull’elezione di papa Leone XIV.

Scrive p. Gabriele nel settimanale: “….ma voglio anche esprimere e sottolineare la gioia di noi missionari che abbiamo visto uno come noi che ha vissuto la missione in una regione bisognosa di evangelizzazione e di presenza di missionari venuti da fuori per lavorare per l’edificazione della comunità cristiana e umana, che ha speso anni nella raccolta del popolo di Dio in mezzo al quale ha testimoniato l’amore di Dio e l’appello della grazia a quelle popolazioni bisognose di lavoratori del Vangelo…”

Fr. Gabriele writes: ‘...I also want to express and emphasise the joy of us missionaries who have seen one like us who has lived the mission in a region in need of evangelisation and the presence of missionaries who have come from outside to work for the formation of the Christian and human community, who has spent years in the gathering of God's people in the midst of whom he has borne witness to God's love and the call of grace to those populations in need of Gospel workers...’
