“Davanti a tanto dolore, a tante ferite, l’unica via di uscita è essere come il buon samaritano”. Sono parole di Papa Francesco tratte dalla sua enciclica Fratelli tutti che quest’anno guida il nostro cammino formativo come famiglia del Laicato. Trasformare il nostro cuore e il nostro modo di vedere e di operare è la conversione a cui siamo chiamati, per vivere pienamente la nostra vocazione missionaria. Nella Fratelli tutti l’Amore è la radice originante della Fraternità, in quanto dall’intimo di ogni cuore crea legami e allarga l’esistenza, facendo uscire la persona da se stessa verso l’altro. Abbiamo bisogno di ricostruire la comunità sociale «a partire da uomini e donne che fanno propria la fragilità degli altri, che non lasciano edificare una società di esclusione, ma si fanno prossimi e rialzano e riabilitano l’uomo caduto, perché il bene sia comune».

Questo è l’augurio che vogliamo portare a tutta la Famiglia Carismatica Saveriana, che il 2023 ci renda capaci di scelte responsabili e generative di rinnovati stili di vita. (Laicato Saveriano in Italia)

“In the face of so much pain and suffering, our only course is to imitate the Good Samaritan.” These words of Pope Francis are taken from his encyclical Fratelli Tutti, that during this year is guiding our formation programme as family of the Laity. The conversion which we are called to is about transforming our heart and the way we see and act, so as to live our missionary vocation to the full. In Fratelli Tutti, Love is the fundamental root of Fraternity; from the depth of every heart, Love creates bonds and broadens the existence; Love leads persons to go beyond themselves and towards the other. We need to rebuild the social community through “men and women who identify with the vulnerability of others, who reject the creation of a society of exclusion, and act instead as neighbours, lifting up and rehabilitating the fallen for the sake of the common good.”

This is our wish to the entire Xaverian Charismatic Family: may the year 2023 be the time when we take responsible decisions that generate new lifestyles. (Xaverian Laity in Italy)
