Il 5 maggio, 2019: al Santuario di Nostra Signora di Fatima a Holliston si è tenuto un raduno al quale hanno partecipato 50 membri che sono attivi nella Comunità Betania. Durante la Messa ha parlato il p. Jean-Marie Gueullette, frate domenicano di Lione – Francia, postulatore della causa del beato Jean-Joseph Lataste, fondatore delle Suore Domenicane di Betania e ispiratore delle attività e apostolato collegato con la Comunità Betania. La missione della Comunità Betania è radicata nel Vangelo e nello spirito del beato Jean-Joseph Lataste OP, che ha riconosciuto attraverso il suo lavoro con le persone incarcerate, soprattutto donne, che l'amore di Dio ha il potere di sanare, trasformare e rinnovare ciò che a molti può sembrare senza speranza. La missione di Casa Betania e dei servizi che presta è creare un ambiente compassionevole e positivo, fornire un servizio competente a tutti coloro la cui vita è stata condizionata da difficoltà. On May 5th at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Holliston there was a gathering of 50 members of the Bethany Ministries Community for a Mass and talk by Fr. Jean-Marie Gueullette, a Dominican Friar from Lyons France who is the postulator for the cause of Blessed Jean Joseph Lataste, the founder of the Dominican Sisters of Bethany and the inspiration for Bethany Ministries here. The mission of Bethany House Ministries is rooted in the Gospel and in the spirit of Blessed Jean Joseph Lataste OP, who recognized through his work with prisoners that God’s love has the power to heal, transform and renew what to many may seemed hopeless. Their mission is to create a compassionate and healing environment and to provide competent service for those whose lives are affected by difficulties. We are especially committed to the physical, emotional and spiritual support of prisoners, former prisoners and their loved ones.
