Venerdì 1° settembre 2023, si celebra la Giornata Mondiale di Preghiera per la Cura del creato, inaugurando il “Tempo del creato” che durerà fino al 4 ottobre, festa di San Francesco d’Assisi. In quella data papa Francesco pubblicherà un’Esortazione, una seconda Laudato si’: “Uniamoci ai nostri fratelli e sorelle cristiani nell’impegno di custodire il creato come dono sacro del Creatore. È necessario schierarsi al fianco delle vittime dell’ingiustizia ambientale e climatica, sforzandosi di porre fine alla insensata guerra alla nostra Casa comune. Esorto tutti a lavorare e pregare affinché essa abbondi nuovamente di vita…”

On Friday, September 1^st, 2023, we celebrate the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, inaugurating the “Season of Creation”, which will last until October 4, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. On that date pope Francis will publish an Exhortation, a second Laudato sì: “Let us join our Christian brothers and sisters in the commitment to care for Creation as a sacred gift from the Creator. It is necessary to stand with the victims of environmental and climate injustice, striving to end the senseless war on our common home, which is a terrible world war. I urge all of you to work and pray for it to abound with life once again…”
