Mercoledì 24 novembre 2021 è stato postato su YouTube il Canto per l’Anno Giubilare scritto, abilmente musicalizzato ed eseguito dalla comunità del Teologato Saveriano Internazionale di Manila. “Gratefulness” (Gratitudine) è il titolo del testo musicale. L’esecuzione è accompagnata da una serie di immagini proprie della vita della comunità ad intra e ad extra.
Rivolgendosi a San Guido Maria Conforti, il pezzo musicale canta in inglese: Tu ci chiedi di donare tutto, e di non trattenere nulla per noi. Dio riempie il nostro vuoto. Egli sarà il nostro tutto. Grazie per darci il tuo stesso spirito e per condividere con noi il tuo sogno. Insieme a te, seguiamo Lui. Tu sei padre dei missionari. Tu ci raduni in unità, amati come figli di Dio nostro Padre. Per andare e raccontare a tutti la bellezza di essere una sola famiglia. Tu ci hai dato solo la Croce per confidare nell’amore del Padre. Per cercare e amare Dio in ogni luogo, affinché Cristo sia da tutti amato.
Il ritornello “Grazie per darci il tuo stesso spirito e per condividere con noi il tuo sogno. Insieme a te, seguiamo Lui. Tu sei padre dei missionari” viene intercalato dalla parola “Grazie” in otto lingue: gracias, merci, xiè xie, obrigado, terima kasih, grazie, salamat, thank you.

XAVERIAN INTERNATIONAL THEOLOGATE OF MANILA, THE PHILIPPINES
On Wednesday, November 24th 2021, a song for the jubilee year has been posted on YouTube. Lyrics and music were written and performed by the community of the Xaverian International Theologate of Manila. The title of the song is Gratefulness. Its performance is accompanied by a series of images taken from the life and activities of the community.
In addressing St Guido Maria Conforti, this musical piece sings: You tell us to give everything, to keep nothing for ourselves. God will fill any emptiness. He will be our everything. Thank you for giving us your soul, for sharing your dream. Together with you we follow Him. You, father of missionaries, you gather us in unity, beloved children of our Father, to go and tell everyone the beauty of being one family. You gave us only the cross to trust in the Father’s love, and seek and love God everywhere till Christ be loved by everyone.
The refrain “Thank you for giving us your soul, for sharing your dream. Together with you we follow Him” is interspersed with the word “thank you” in eight languages: gracias, merci, xièxie, obrigado, terima kasih, grazie, salamat, thank you.
