Il Consiglio del Laicato Saveriano italiano ha elaborato un ottimo libretto di formazione per l’anno 2020/2021. Nell’introduzione viene definito l’obbiettivo del Laicato SX per il nuovo anno:
«La formazione di quest’anno è incentrata sull’Anno Giubilare Saveriano; saranno la figura e la santità del Conforti ad accompagnarci durante l’anno, per stimolarci nel servizio alla missione ad gentes. Il tempo che stiamo vivendo ci sollecita ed interroga fortemente come singoli e come Famiglia. Per questo il titolo ‘Testimoni di speranza’ vuole essere un monito, un desiderio, una scelta da missionari per i mesi che ci apprestiamo a vivere. Ed il Conforti vuole essere la nostra guida: ‘Il Signore non poteva essere più buono con noi’.
Condividiamo con voi questo libretto per rinsaldare il desiderio di Fare Famiglia, una famiglia spirituale e missionaria consapevole dei singoli e specifici cammini, ma unita nella fraternità e nel carisma missionario del Conforti. Per questo motivo, all’interno della formazione annuale abbiamo voluto dedicare il mese di febbraio, con tematica ‘La Famiglia Carismatica’, ad un momento di formazione condivisa con i padri saveriani e le sorelle saveriane, nei territori dove siamo presenti.
Con l’augurio di vivere un intenso Anno Giubilare, chiediamo a San Guido Maria Conforti la Fede, la tenacia, lo slancio alla missione, per aiutarci ad essere missionari e testimoni di Speranza».

The Council of the Italian Xaverian Laity has drawn up and excellent training booklet for the year 2020/2021. The Introduction defines the goal of the Laity SX for the new year: “This year’s Formation focuses on the Xaverian Jubilee Year. The figure and the sanctity of Conforti will accompany us during this year, to stimulate us in service to Mission ad Gentes. The time we are living urges us and strongly questions us as individuals and as family. For this reason, the title “Witness of Hope” is intended to be a warning , a desire, a choice to be missionaries for these months in which we are asked to live. Conforti wants to be our guide. “The Lord could not have been more good to us!”
We share with you this booklet to strengthen the desire to be family, a spiritual and missionary family aware of there being individual and specific paths, but always united in the fraternity specific to the missionary charism of Conforti. For this reason, within the Formation Process of this new year, we wanted to dedicate the month of February to the theme: “Our Charismatic Family”. It will be a moment of formation shared together with the Xaverian Fathers and the Xaverian Sisters, in the territories in which we are present. “With the hope and the wish of living an intense Jubilee Year, we ask St. Guido Maria Conforti for faith, tenacity and impetus toward mission. We ask him to help us to be missionaries and witnesses of Hope.”
