Domenica 08 maggio 2022 si è tenuta a Oyom-Abang (Yaoundé) la 36ª edizione della Festa Patronale della parrocchia Gesù Buon Pastore dove lavoriamo dal 1986. È stata anche l'occasione per celebrare il primo anniversario del ritorno alla casa del Padre del nostro p. Beppe Pulcini sx. Il confratello è stato parroco a Oyom-Abang dal 2015 fino alla sua morte il 16 aprile 2021. La comunità cristiana gli ha reso un vibrante omaggio per l'eredità spirituale e pastorale che ha lasciato.

La Celebrazione Eucaristica è stata presieduta da Mons. Daniel Ewolo, Vicario Generale dell'Arcidiocesi di Yaoundé, in visita pastorale. Era presente anche p. Félix Kuate Bougieka, Superiore Regionale. Ha colto l'occasione per ringraziare e incoraggiare i parrocchiani a continuare la collaborazione e il sostegno dei futuri saveriani che da qui partono verso diverse nazioni.

In memoria di p. Beppe Pulcini sx, il Coordinamento dei Giovani della Parrocchia ha elaborato il primissimo numero del Bollettino parrocchiale «Echos du Bon Pasteur». In questa pubblicazione, vengono presentate varie testimonianze raccolte dai fedeli di Oyom-Abang sul nostro confratello. (Richard Nembouet sx)

On Sunday, May 8^th, 2022, the 36^th Patronal Feast of Jesus Holy Shepherd Parish, where we have been working since 1986, was held in Oyom-Abang (Yaoundé). It has been the occasion for celebrating also the first anniversary of our confrere Fr. Beppe Pulcini’s return to the Father’s House. Fr. Beppe has been parish priest in Oyom-Abang from 2015 to his death on April 16^th, 2021. The Christian community paid him a heartfelt homage for the spiritual and pastoral legacy he left behind. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Msgr. Daniel Ewolo, Vicar General of Yaoundé Archdiocese, who was on a pastoral visit. Fr. Félix Kuate Bougieka, Regional Superior, was also present. The latter took the chance to thank and encourage the parishioners to continue the collaboration and support the future Xaverians who from this place will leave for different nations.

In memory of Fr. Beppe Pulcini s.x., the Youth Coordination team of the parish has edited the very first number of the parish Bulletin, Echos du Bon Pasteur. This issue presents various testimonies about our confrere gathered from among the faithful of Oyom-Abang. (Richard Nembouet s.x.)
