Dal 11 al 16 Marzo 2019, i formatori delle Circoscrizioni del continente Asiatico si trovano insieme a Manila per continuare la riflessione iniziata nel 2016 a Jakarta. Questa iniziativa risponde al desiderio di incoraggiare forme concrete di condivisione e collaborazione fra i formatori Saveriani dell’ Asia.
I partecipanti sono Fernando Garcia Rodriguez e Eugenio Pulcini della Direzione Generale; Yakobus Sriyatmoko, Johanes Leonardus Suharno, Vitus Rubianto Solichin, Rafael Bardon Sedano, Manuel Sanchez Gutierrez, Alfons Widhiwiryawan, Antonius Wahyudianto, dall’Indonesia; David Rocky Gomes, dal Bangladesh; Giovanni Matteazzi, dalla Tailandia; Petrus Hardiyanto, Patrick Santiañez Salazar, Yustinus Hibur, Emmanuele Borelli, Cesar Silva and Luigino Marchioron, dalle Filippine.
Prima dell’inizio delle attività’, abbiamo dedicato la Domenica alla visita delle due comunità parrocchiali Saveriane, e delle comunità della Teologia e del Noviziato e Postulantato.
La giornata del Lunedì è stata animata dalla Direzione Generale con una riflessione Biblica sulla sequela nel Vangelo di Marco, seguita da una breve presentazione della nuova edizione della Ratio Formationis Xaverianae.
Martedì mattina, il Claretiano P. Samuel Canilang ha presentato le realtà, le sfide e alcuni suggerimenti per un rinnovamento integrale della Vita Consacrata nel contesto di una “Chiesa in uscita”: “Vino nuovo in otri nuovi”. Nel pomeriggio, il Salesiano P. Chito Dimaranan ci ha parlato dei “Millennials”, generazione Y e Z” e le sfide che queste nuove generazioni pongono alla formazione dei giovani. La serata è stata conclusa con la celebrazione eucaristica animata dalla Comunità di Filosofia, seguita da cena e un momento di fraternità.
Mercoledì 13 Marzo abbiamo riflettuto in gruppo e in plenaria su tre fondamentali domande emerse dalle tre fragilità indicate dal XVII Capitolo Generale (cf. nn. 28-30) riguardo a: identità Saveriana, Spirito di famiglia e interculturalità.
Abbiamo concluso la giornata con la celebrazione eucaristica animata dalla comunità del Postulato-Noviziato e seguita da un nuovo momento di fraternità.
From 11 to 16 March 2019, the Formators of the Circumscriptions of the Asian Continent are gathered together in Manila to continue the reflection begun in Jakarta in 2016. This initiative responds to the desire to encourage concrete forms of sharing and collaboration among the Xaverian Formators in Asia. The participants are: Fernando Garcia Rodriguez and Eugenio Pulcini from the General Direction; Yakobus Sriyatmoko, Johanes Leonardus Suharno, Vitus Rubianto Solichin, Rafael Bardon Sedano, Manuel Sanchez Gutierrez, Alfons Widhiwiryawan and Antonius Wahyudianto, from Indonesia; David Rocky Gomes, from Bangladesh; Giovanni Matteazzi, from Thailand; Petrus Hardiyanto, Patrick Santiañez Salazar, Yustinus Hibur, Emmanuele Borelli, Cesar Silva and Luigino Marchioron, from the Philippines.
Before starting with the activities, we spent the first Sunday by visiting the two Parishes run by the Xaverians, and the two Xaverian communities of Postulancy-Novitiate and Theologate.
The first day was animated by the General Direction with a biblical reflection about discipleship in the Gospel of Mark, followed by a short introduction to the new edition of the Ratio Formationis Xaverianae.
On Tuesday morning, Fr. Samuel Canilang, Claretian, presented the reality and the challenges, and offered some insights for the integral renewal of the Consecrated life in the context of a Church which goes forth.
In the afternoon, Fr. Chito Dimaranan, Salesian, talked about “Millennials, generation Y and Z” and the challenges that these new generations pose to formation of the young people. We concluded our day with the Eucharistic celebration animated by the Philosophy community, followed by dinner and a joyful moment of fraternity.
On Wednesday, we took time to reflect first in groups and then in assembly on the three fundamental questions emerged from three kinds of fragilities pointed out by the XVII General Chapter (see nn. 28-30) in regard to: Xaverian identity, family spirit and interculturality. We concluded the day with the celebration of the Eucharist animated by the community of Postulancy and Novitiate, followed by another moment of joyful fraternity.
