COSUMA ASIA (12-19 Novembre 2019)
“ASIA: Quale risposta, come Saveriani, alla Missione ad Gentes?”
14 Novembre (Giovedì) Terzo Giorno
Dopo la prima fase con esposizione-ascolto delle relazioni delle circoscrizioni si passa all’effettivo lavoro, sia di gruppo che assembleare.
Nella prima sessione della giornata, nei gruppi si sono evidenziati i temi emersi dalle relazioni che potrebbero diventare oggetto di lavoro di tutto il periodo restante dell’assemblea.
Nella seconda sessione, esposto il frutto del lavoro di gruppo, si procede alla scelta degli argomenti a cui dare priorità nei lavori della CoSuMa. Con la decisione di affrontare in modo assembleare i temi scelti si programma la scaletta di lavoro. Le tematiche prioritarie che coinvolgono tutte le circoscrizioni sono:
- Configurazione della presenza sx in Asia: accorpamento e/o collaborazioni tra circoscrizioni
- Animazione vocazionale e formazione di base
- Laici e Laicato Sx
- Tema dell’ Ad Extra nella Missione
- Missione e Comunità
- Saveriani e Chiesa locale
- Missione e povertà
Nella terza sessione (pomeridiana) Si comincia a prendere in considerazione la prima delle tematiche proposte e i suoi sottopunti concreti.

“Which answer to mission ad gentes in Asia?”
Thursday November 14, Third Day
After the first phase when the different Circumscriptions presented their reports, we moved to the actual work to be done in groups and all together.
In the first session of the day, the groups listed the different themes that had been mentioned in the reports and could be taken up as topics to work on during the remaining part of the assembly.
In the second session, after each group’s sharing, we proceeded to the choice of those topics we wanted to work on during the CoSuMa. Then, having decided to discuss the topics not in groups but as an assembly, we planned the work. The topics we felt are a priority for all the Circumscriptions are:
- Configuration of our presence in the Asian continent: merging/cooperation between Circumscriptions
- Missionary Awareness and First Stage of Formation
- Lay people and Xaverian Lay Friends
- The theme of ad extra in Mission
- Mission and Community
- Xaverians and Local Church
- Mission and Poverty
In the third session, in the afternoon, we started taking into consideration the first topic.
