Dal 21 al 24 maggio 2024, il Superiore Generale, p. Fernando García Rodríguez, parteciperà ad Assisi, presso la Domus Pacis, alla 101^a Assemblea della USG (Unione Superiori Generali). La prima giornata sarà dedicata alla memoria grata per le 100 Assemblee della USG e al Bilancio economico. La seconda giornata rifletterà sul ruolo della USG nella realizzazione del Concilio Vaticano II nella vita consacrata; sull’attualità di San Francesco d’Assisi come strumento di pace; e all’impegno della USG per la pace nel mondo. Il terzo giorno si concentrerà sul tema “la semplicità come fonte di rinnovamento della vita consacrata” e sulla seconda sessione del Sinodo sulla Sinodalità. 

From May 21^st to 24^th, 2024, the Superior General, Fr. Fernando García Rodríguez, will take part in the 101 Assembly of USG (Union of Superior Generals) that will be held at Domus Pacis in Assisi. The first day shall be dedicated to a grateful review of the past 100 USG’s Assemblies and to the discussion of the financial budget. On the second day, there shall be a reflection on the role USG can play in implementing 2^nd Vatican Council in consecrated life; on St Francis of Assisi as instrument of peace today; and on USG’s commitment to world peace.  On the third day, participants will focus on the theme of “simplicity as a source of renewal for consecrated life” and on the second session of the Synod on Synodality.
