A circa due anni di distanza si è tenuto ancora alla Domus di Bujumbura, dal lunedì 3 a giovedì 6 febbraio un altro incontro dei delegati del centro studi africani. Non hanno potuto rispondere a questo importante appuntamento le sorelle saveriane, impegnate in un’assemblea pre-capitolare a Bukavu.

P. Fabien Kalehezo della DG ha guidato i lavori dell’assemblea in una approfondita valutazione dei lavori fatti durante questi due anni e ad una seria programmazione delle attività del centro nei due anni a venire alla luce soprattutto del convegno dei centri studi internazionali svoltosi a Roma l’anno scorso. Tra l’altro sono stati proposti i temi principali delle prossime pubblicazioni. Durante la medesima assemblea sono stati scelti il nuovo presidente, il coordinatore e il nuovo comitato di redazione per le attività dei prossimi due anni. Belli ed emozionanti i momenti di preghiera, il ritiro Spirituale nella cappella della pace e del perdono delle nostre sorelle uccise a Kamenge e la cena conviviale con la presenza di un gruppo di laici saveriani della nostra regione.

About two years after the previous one, another meeting of the delegates of the African study center was held at the Domus of Bujumbura, from Monday 3 to Thursday 6 February. The Xaverian sisters, engaged in a pre-chapter assembly in Bukavu, were unable to join in this important meeting.

Fr. Fabien Kalehezo of the DG led the work of the assembly in a thorough evaluation of the work done during these two years and in a serious planning of the center's activities in the two years to come, especially in light of the conference of the international study centers held in Rome last year.

Among other things, the main themes of the next publications have been proposed.

During the same meeting, the new president, coordinator and new editorial committee were chosen for the activities of the next two years.

Beautiful and exciting the moments of prayer, the spiritual retreat in the chapel of peace and forgiveness of our sisters killed in Kamenge, and the convivial dinner with the presence of a group of lay Xaverians from our region.
