Dopo le fatiche della Quaresima e delle celebrazioni pasquali, i confratelli della Regione Burundi si sono ritirati dal 16 al 21 aprile 2023 presso il Foyer de Charité di Ngozi per vivere il loro ritiro annuale. Il predicatore di questo ritiro è stato p. Jean Claude Ndabaniwe, della Congregazione dei Padri Carmelitani. Il tema del ritiro è stato: “Le sfide della vita consacrata”. P. Jean Claude ha sviluppato questo tema evidenziando 5 sfide: 1) la sfida della durata, 2) la sfida della comunione, 3) la sfida del servizio, 4) la sfida della fraternità e 5) la sfida dell'interiorità. È stato un momento di rinnovamento della vita spirituale e del nostro impegno missionario. (Philbert Ntahimpera sx)

After hard working in the Lent and Easter celebrations, the confreres of the Burundi Region moved to the Foyer de Charité in Ngozi for their annual retreat from 16 to 21 April 2023. Preacher of the retreat was the Carmelite priest Fr. Jean Claude Ndabaniwe. Theme of the retreat was: The Challenges of Consecrated Life. In expounding this theme, Fr. Jean Claude highlighted five challenges: 1) the challenge of duration, 2) the challenge of communion, 3) the challenge of service, 4) the challenge of brotherhood and 5) the challenge of interiority. The retreat has been a moment of renewal for our spiritual life and missionary commitment. (Philbert Ntahimpera s.x.)
