Nella finestra del sito web della DG dedicata al Giubileo Saveriano, si trova la copia originale – scansionata – delle prime Costituzioni della Pia Società di San Francesco Saverio per le Missioni estere. Si tratta del testo corretto e approvato definitivamente dalla Congregazione di Propaganda Fide, il 6 Gennaio 1921. Il documento, che inizia con la Lettera Testamento, contiene anche alcune annotazioni autografe di Guido M. Conforti.

Alla sezione «Risonanze», questa settimana collabora il confratello camerunese Thierry Kengne Kamga, che lavora in Tailandia dal 2012. Il titolo della sua riflessione, presentata in Inglese e francese, è: “With St. Conforti, serving God’s dream”.

JUBILEE YEAR

In the window of the DG website dedicated to the Xaverian Jubilee, you will find the original copy – scanned – of the first Constitutions of the St. Francis Xavier Foreign Mission Society. It is the text corrected and definitively approved by the Congregation of Propaganda Fide, January 6^th – 1921. The document, which begins with the Testament Letter, also contains some autographed annotations by Guido M. Conforti.
This week, our confrere Thierry Kengne Kamga, who has been working in Thailand since 2012, offers his own personal contribution in the “Resonances” section. The title of his reflection, written in English and French, is: “With St. Conforti, serving God’s dream”.
