All'inizio dell'anno comunitario - che ormai volge alla fine -  i confratelli si sono impegnati a lavorare nella pastorale dell'Infanzia Missionaria. Due studenti di Teologia hanno accompagnato una trentina di “ragazzi missionari” formatisi in questo tempo. Domenica 9 luglio 2023, con tutta la comunità cristiana riunita per celebrare l’ Eucaristia, questi ragazzi hanno ringraziato il Signore per l'esperienza vissuta insieme durante l’anno e per i quattro giorni di convivenza appena conclusisi. Durante la celebrazione eucaristica, ogni “ragazzo missionario” si è impegnato a pregare, a parlare di Gesù e a condividere la Sua amicizia con altri ragazzi. Dopo l'Eucaristia, i ragazzi hanno gioiosamente prolungato la festa di ringraziamento, condividendo alcuni alimenti e augurandosi reciprocamente “buone vacanze”. Tutti noi, grazie a questa attività, abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di crescere nella conoscenza e nell'amore per lo spirito missionario. At the beginning of the community year - which is now drawing to a close – confreres committed themselves to working in the pastoral care of Missionary Childhood. Two theology students accompanied a group of thirty kids that were trained as “missionary children" during the year. On Sunday, July 9^th, 2023, with the entire Christian community gathered to celebrate Mass, these children thanked the Lord for the experience they shared over the past year and for the four-day summer camp that just ended. During the Eucharistic celebration, each "missionary child" pledged to pray, to talk about Jesus and to share Jesus’ friendship with other children. After the Eucharist, the children joyfully prolonged their thanksgiving celebration by sharing some food and exchanging wishes of "happy holidays". Thanks to this activity, all of us had the opportunity to grow in knowledge of and love for the missionary spirit. (The educators of the group: Arcade Bayizere s.x. and Stanislas Bisimwa Baronyi s.x.)
