MESSAGGIO PER LA LXIII GIORNATA MONDIALE DI PREGHIERA PER LE VOCAZIONI: “La scoperta interiore del dono di Dio” (26 aprile 2026)

“La vocazione non è un traguardo statico, ma un processo dinamico di maturazione, favorito dall’intimità con il Signore: stare con Gesù, lasciar agire lo Spirito Santo nei cuori e nelle situazioni della vita e rileggere tutto alla luce del dono ricevuto significa crescere nella vocazione.
I “luoghi” dove si manifesta maggiormente la volontà di Dio e si fa esperienza del suo infinito amore sono spesso i legami autentici e fraterni che siamo capaci di instaurare nel corso della nostra vita.
Vocazione, non è un possesso immediato, qualcosa di “dato” una volta per tutte: è piuttosto un cammino che si sviluppa analogamente alla vita umana, in cui il dono ricevuto, oltre ad essere custodito, deve nutrirsi di un rapporto quotidiano con Dio per poter crescere e portare frutto. ‘Questo ha un grande valore, perché colloca tutta la nostra vita di fronte a quel Dio che ci ama e ci permette di capire che nulla è frutto di un caos senza senso, ma al contrario tutto può essere inserito in un cammino di risposta al Signore, che ha un progetto stupendo per noi’…”.

MESSAGE FOR THE 63rd WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS: “The Interior Discovery of God’s Gift” (April 26th, 2026)
“A vocation is not a fixed point, but a dynamic process of maturation sustained by intimacy with our Lord. To grow in one’s vocation means being with Jesus, allowing the Holy Spirit to act in our hearts and in the circumstances of life, and reinterpreting everything in light of this gift.
The “places” where God’s will is most manifest, and where we experience his infinite love, are often the authentic, fraternal bonds we establish throughout our lives.
A vocation […] is not an immediate possession — something “given” once and for all. Instead, it is a path that unfolds much like life itself. The gift we have received must not only be protected but also nourished by a daily relationship with God in order to grow and bear fruit. “This is helpful, since it situates our whole life in relation to the God who loves us. It makes us realize that nothing is the result of pure chance but that everything in our lives can become a way of responding to the Lord, who has a wonderful plan for us.”
