Il 31 gennaio 2021 – n.2, il giornale della Diocesi di Noto (Sicilia) - Vita diocesana - nella sezione dedicata alla pastorale diocesana intitolata “Con Cuore: la Comunità Missionaria Intercongregazionale”, ha pubblicato 3 articoli: La vera fraternità nello Spirito che “gioca con le differenze”; Come diventare “fratelli tutti”: il racconto di una esperienza missionaria (scritto da Adriana Marsili, delle Missionari di Maria – Saveriane) e la Comunità Missionaria Intecongregazionale. Nelle foto vengono ritratti alcuni componenti della comunità, tra i quali il nostro confratello p. Carlo Uccelli insieme alla Saveriana Adriana Marsili.

La Comunità Missionaria Intercongregazionale è il risultato delle conclusioni del Forum a cui era giunto la Conferenza degli Istituti Missionari Italiani (CIMI) nel 2013. Nel Forum, infatti, era emerso il desiderio di favorire un lavoro intercongregazionale, misto e partecipato anche da Laici, che incoraggi e sostenga processi di apprendimento comune, in stile di comunione, valorizzando il più possibile il rapporto con gli stranieri immigrati in Italia, soprattutto tramite il contatto personale, portandosi nei diversi luoghi da loro abitati: casa, carcere, CIE (Centro di Identificazione ed Espulsione) periferie, ambiti di socializzazione giovanile, ecc. Gli Istituti Missionari in Italia, in virtù del loro specifico carisma “ad gentes” desiderano offrire alla Chiesa Italiana un segno della missionarietà che li qualifica.  

On January 31^st, 2021, the second issue of Vita Diocesana, journal of Noto Diocese (Sicily), under the section dedicated to diocesan pastoral work titled “With a Loving Heart: The Inter-congregational Missionary Community”, the following three articles have been published: True Fraternity in the Spirit, a Spirit that “Plays with Diversities”; How to Become “All Brothers (Fratelli Tutti)”: The Story of a Missionary Experience (authored by Adriana Marsili of the Xaverian Missionary Sisters of Mary); and The Inter-congregational Missionary Community. The photos that accompany the articles portray some members of the community, among them are our confrere Fr. Carlo Uccelli and Xaverian Sister Adriana Marsili.

The Inter-congregational Missionary Community represents an outcome of the Forum organized by the Conference of Italian Missionary Institutes (CIMI) in 2013. During that Forum the wish emerged to facilitate an inter-congregational work that would bring together both male and female congregations and be open to the participation of Lay Christians. Such working together is meant to encourage and support processes of common learning, in a style of communion and by capitalizing, as much as possible, on relations with foreign immigrants in Italy, especially through personal contacts and by reaching them in the various places where they live: homes, jail, CIE (Centre of Identification and Expulsion), suburbs, places of youth socialization, etc. By virtue of their specific ad gentes charism, the Missionary Institutes in Italy want to offer a sign of their missionary nature to the Italian Church.
