Nel pomeriggio di martedì 20 aprile, presieduta da p. Eugenio Pulcini, è stata celebrata a Nembro (Bergamo), la messa di suffragio per il fratello p. Beppe, deceduto venerdì 16 aprile 2021, a Yaoundé (Camerun). Oltre ai sacerdoti locali, erano presenti diversi Confratelli dalle Comunità di Alzano L., Brescia, Tavernerio e Parma. I familiari, gli amici e i compaesani hanno riempito la chiesa nei limiti imposti da questo tempo di pandemia.
Molte persone che non hanno avuto modo di partecipare in presenza, si sono rese vicine con messaggi e preghiere. Così, accompagnati da diverse testimonianze profonde e significative, in un clima di preghiera e fede, abbiamo affidato il nostro confratello Beppe alle braccia di Dio Padre, ringraziandolo e benedicendolo per tutto quello che ha fatto nella vita di questo missionario buono e fedele. Nell’eucaristia è stato letto anche il saluto, la vicinanza e la preghiera del Superiore Generale, p. Fernando García. (Pietro Pierobon sx)
On the afternoon of Tuesday, April 20th, 2021, Fr. Eugenio Pulcini s.x. presided over the Funeral Mass celebrated for his brother Fr. Giuseppe Pulcini s.x. (aka “Beppe”) who had died on Friday, April 16th, 2021, in Yaoundé (Cameroun). In addition to local Priests, several Xaverian Confreres from the Communities of Alzano Lombardo, Brescia, Tavernerio and Parma were present at the celebration. Family members, friends and villagers filled the church, within the limits imposed by this time of pandemic.
Many people, who did not have the opportunity to participate in person, contributed with their prayers and messages. Thus, accompanied by several profound and significant testimonies, in an atmosphere of prayer and faith, we entrusted our brother Fr. Beppe in the embrace of God the Father, thanking and blessing Him for all He did in the life of this good and faithful missionary. During the Eucharist, a message of greeting by the Superior General of the Xaverians, Fr. Fernando Garcia, expressing closeness and prayer, was also read. (Fr. Pietro Pierobon, s.x.)
