La Famiglia delle Missionarie di Maria – Saveriane, appresa la notizia dell’arresto di una persona gravemente indiziata per il coinvolgimento nel massacro delle nostre tre sorelle Olga Raschietti, Lucia Pulici, Bernardetta Boggian, desidera, a nome anche dei familiari, esprimere un profondo ringraziamento alla Procura della Repubblica e al Nucleo Investigativo dei Carabinieri di Parma per l’impegno profuso e la grande professionalità, che hanno permesso questo risultato. Ringrazia anche tutte le persone che, in vari modi, hanno dato il loro contributo e che ci sono state vicine in questi anni, in particolare il nostro Vescovo S. E. Mons. Enrico Solmi e i nostri fratelli Missionari Saveriani. Auspica che questo importante passo nella ricerca della verità contribuisca a fare piena luce su questa vicenda e su tante altre ancora nell’ombra. Affida alla preghiera di Olga, Lucia e Bernardetta la delicata situazione nella Regione dei Grandi Laghi e la sofferenza di quelle popolazioni, di cui hanno condiviso la vita, perché si aprano cammini di vera pace.

The Family of the Missionaries of Mary-Xaverian Sisters, having learned of the arrest of a person strongly suspected of involvement in the massacre of our three sisters Olga Raschietti, Lucia Pulici, and Bernardetta Boggian, wishes, on behalf of the relatives, to express its profound sentiment of gratitude to the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Unit of the Carabinieri of Parma for their dedication and great professionalism, which have made this result possible. We also thank all those who, in various ways, have contributed and stood by us over the years, in particular our Bishop, His Excellency Monsignor Enrico Solmi, and our Xaverian Missionary brothers. We hope that this important step in the search for truth will help to shed light on this case and many others that remain in the shadows. We entrust to the prayers of Olga, Lucia and Bernardetta the delicate situation in the Great Lakes Region and the suffering of those populations with whom they shared their lives, so that paths to true peace may be opened.
