Noi abitanti del Quarto Piano della Casa Madre dei Missionari Saveriani di Parma, con limitazioni dovute all’età ed alla malattia, in questo tempo di Pasqua, rinnoviamo il nostro impegno a favore delle popolazioni vittime della guerra in Ucraina. Pertanto:

• siamo dalla parte dei bambini ucraini in fuga, delle donne, esposte a ogni violenza, degli anziani, inermi e abbandonati… siamo anche dalla parte dei bambini russi che, nelle periferie delle metropoli o nelle regioni più isolate, saranno vittime delle sanzioni europee e moriranno di fame, stenti, malattie… 
• puntiamo l’indice contro i capi, i leader, i governi di entrambi i paesi, che stanno portando i rispettivi popoli a un massacro insensato. 

Seguitori di Colui che ha dato la Vita perché tutti abbiano vita, ci impegniamo a vivere questa Pasqua in unità di spirito con Lui e con coloro che sono operatori di pace. Buona Pasqua! (Savio Corinaldesi sx e i confratelli del 4to Piano della casa Madre, Parma)

We, the inhabitants of the Fourth Floor in the Mother House of the Xaverian Missionaries in Parma, within the constraints that age and sickness impose on us, during this Easter season, renew our commitment in favour of the populations that are the victims of the war in Ukraine. Therefore:

• we side with the fleeing Ukrainian children, with women facing all sorts of violence, with the elderly who are helpless and forsaken… we side also with Russian children that are in the outskirts of big cities or in the remotest regions and who are going to suffer due to European sanctions, and will die from hunger, hardships, diseases…
• we point fingers at leaders and governments of both countries for they are leading their own people towards an insane massacre.

As followers of the One who gave up His life so that everyone may have life, we strive to live this Easter in spiritual unity with Him and those who work for peace. Happy Easter. (Savio Corinaldesi s.x. and the confreres of the Fourth Floor in the Mother House, Parma)
