Dal 09 al 23 giugno 2024, nella Casa Madre di Parma, si terrà la COSUMA che avrà come tema principale “La Leadership nella vita religiosa”. La scelta della Casa Madre di Parma come luogo della COSUMA vuole essere una risposta concreta alle indicazioni del XVIII Capitolo Generale tenutosi a Bukavu, RDC, nel mese di luglio 2023. Ritrovarsi nei luoghi dove San Guido Maria Conforti ha dato inizio al suo audace progetto, è per tutti un’opportunità per riprendere con slancio sempre maggiore il servizio come Superiori e svolgerlo come segno di amore a questa famiglia Saveriana.
Il tema della leadership - durante le due settimane di attività - sarà considerato e riflettuto da diversi punti di vista: il fondamento biblico, l’aspetto pedagogico, la dimensione sociologica, mettendo in luce le opportunità e le sfide di questo impegno. Alla luce del Magistero ecclesiale si rifletterà anche sull’ aspetto teologico, sinodale; sulla tradizione Saveriana, l’amministrazione dei beni, la tutela dei minori, le questioni relative agli abusi, ed il corretto uso del Vademecum.
Grande importanza verrà data all’ascolto dell’esperienza quotidiana nel servizio dell’autorità nella Famiglia Saveriana.
From June 9th to 23rd, 2024, COSUMA will be held in the Mother House, Parma. Main theme of the meeting is Leadership in Religious Life. The choice of the Mother House in Parma as venue for this COSUMA comes as a concrete answer to the orientations given by the XVIII General Chapter held in Bukavu, DRC, in July 2023. Gathering together in those places where St Guido Maria Conforti began his audacious project is an opportunity for all to resume with greater drive the service of Superior and carry it out as an expression of love for the Xaverian family.
During the two-week long event, the theme of leadership will be tackled from different perspectives – biblical foundations, educational aspects, sociological dimension – with the aim to shed light on the opportunities and challenges associated with this commitment. In the light of the ecclesial Magisterium, the COSUMA will also reflect on: the theological and synodal aspect; the Xaverian tradition; the administration of goods; the safeguarding of minors; the issues of abuses; and the correct use of the Vademecum.
Particular importance will be given to listening to the daily experience of those carrying out the service of authority within the Xaverian Family.
