Sabato 26 ottobre 2024, presso la Facoltà di Teologia dell’Università Pontificia del Messico (UPM fondata il 25 gennaio 1553), il nostro confratello p. Antonio López Villaseñor ha difeso brillantemente la tesi dottorale in Teologia Biblica. Il titolo della ricerca dottorale è “Enfermedad y salud en los textos de Ben Sira 38,1-23, Lucas 10,29-37, Santiago 5,13-16. En el Mundo Cultural Musey”.

I tre professori sinodali per l’esame ad doctoratum hanno apprezzato “lo sforzo scientifico di inculturare la Parola di Dio in una cultura come quella dei Musey; il rigore scientifico dell’indagine e soprattutto la sapienza di un missionario che ha saputo incarnarsi nella cultura Musey fino ad assumere la capacità di parlare di Dio in termini culturali comprensibili…” . On Saturday, October 26^th, 2024, our confrere Fr. Antonio López Villaseñor successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in Biblical Theology at the Theological Department of the Pontifical University of Mexico (UPM, founded on January 25^th, 1553). The title of his doctoral research is  “Enfermedad y salud en los textos de Ben Sira 38,1-23, Lucas 10,29-37, Santiago 5,13-16. En el Mundo Cultural Musey.” The three-professor examining commission praised “the scientific effort to inculturate the Word of God in a cultural milieu such as that of the Musey people; the scientific rigor of the investigation and especially the wisdom of a missionary who was able to enter deeply into Musey culture to the point of developing a skill for speaking about God in culturally meaningful terms…”  (Rubén Antonio Macías Sapién, s.x.)
