Mercoledì 27 gennaio, dalle ore 14:00 alle 16:00 circa, ora italiana si è tenuto l’incontro online dei rettori e vicerettori delle Teologie insieme alla Direzione Generale (il Superiore Generale, il Vicario Generale e il Consigliere p. Javier Peguero P., da Roma; p. Eugenio Pulcini, dall’Indonesia e p. Fabien Kalehezo, dalla RDC). Il tema dell’incontro è stato presentato e svolto dal team formativo di Manila – Filippine, dal titolo La “distanza” formativa. Una serie di domande preparate dal team in turno erano state inviate una decina di giorni prima per favorire la condivisione tra i formatori. Le “distanze” che si possono creare tra il formatore e il formando quando vengono segnalate le inconsistenze o gli atteggiamenti da cambiare nel processo formativo del giovane: chiusura, sfiducia, resistenze…. È stato inoltre condiviso il modo con cui tali “distanze” vengono interpretate e valutate. Che cosa può essere fatto insieme anche a livello di tappe formative precedenti?

Un altro punto dell’agenda dell’incontro è stato l’aggiornamento da ogni comunità: nuovi arrivi, gruppo di Neo-professi di Kinshasa, situazione Covid, etc.

On January 27^th – 2021, from about 14:00 to 16:00,  Italian time, was held Online The Meeting of Rectors and Vice-Rectors of Theology with the General Direction (the Superior General, the Vicar-General, and the Councilors  Fr.  Javier Peguero and Fr. Eugenio Pulcini,  all from Rome, and also Fr. Fabièn Klehezo, from the DRC).  The theme of the Meeting was presented and carried out by a training team of Manila – Philippines. Its title was: “The ‘Distance’ between Formators and the young persons in the formation process”.   A series of questions prepared by the team had been sent about ten days earlier to encourage sharing among the particpants.  The “Distances” that can be created and could exist betwee Formators and the young persons in the training formational process could be the following: closure, mistrust, resistance,   …  The ways in which these “Distances” could be dealt with, visualized and interpreted, evaluated and resolved, also have been named.   Another area of concern was the following: “What have we done together in the past, and what can we do now together at the formational level?” 

Another point dealt with, was: “What is the ‘updating’ that is happening in our communities: new arrivals, groups of newly Professed Xaverians of Kinshasa, situation Covid-19, etc.
