I confratelli della Delegazione del Mozambico si sono riuniti dal 9 al 12 aprile nella casa parrocchiale di Sena per la prima delle due assemblee annuali. Erano presenti tutti i nove confratelli attualmente presenti in Mozambico, provenienti dalle quattro comunità, due in zona urbana (Dondo e Inhamizwa), due in zona rurale (Charre e Sena).

Tra i vari punti dell’agenda, sono stati condivisi i Progetti Comunitari di Vita e le attività pastorali realizzate a livello di parrocchia dall’inizio dell’anno. Si è discusso riguardo l’animazione missionaria vocazionale e la formazione di base (sono otto i giovani che stanno compiendo la prima tappa della formazione nella casa di Inhamizwa, mentre altri due giovani mozambicani sono in Congo dallo scorso anno per la tappa successiva). Non poteva mancare il tema dell’economia, che abbiamo introdotto con alcune idee e suggerimenti proposti nel recente incontro del Commissione Generale dell’Economia realizzata a Roma.

Constatiamo che siamo pochi per la grande messe che siamo chiamati a lavorare. Tuttavia, lo spirito del Risorto ci prende per mano e ci dà la gioia di potere servire il suo Regno in questa realtà di puro primo annuncio. (Andrea Facchetti sx)

The confreres of the Mozambique Delegation gathered from April 9 to 12, 2024 in the parish house of Sena for the first of two annual assemblies. All nine confreres currently present in Mozambique were present. They came from the four communities: two from the urban area (Dondo and Inhamizwa) and two from the rural area (Charre and Sena).

Among the various points on the agenda, we shared the Communities Projects of Life and the pastoral activities carried out at the parish level since the beginning of the year. There was discussion regarding vocation and mission animation and initial formation (eight young people are completing the first stage of formation in the house of Inhamizwa, while two others have been in Congo since last year for the next stage). We could not leave out the topic of the economy, introduced with some ideas and suggestions proposed at the recent General Commission of the Economy meeting held in Rome.

We noted that we are few in number vis a vis of the great harvest before us. However, the spirit of the Risen Lord takes us by the hand and gives us the joy of being able to serve his Kingdom in this reality of authentic first proclamation. (Andrea Facchetti, s.x.)
