Dopo l’ultima Cosuma, Parma 8-23 giugno 2024, uno dei partecipanti ha scritto ai confratelli della sua circoscrizione per portare i saluti e assicurare le preghiere delle molte persone incontrate. Visto che era rimasto particolarmente toccato dalle affettuose e significative parole che una signora (Augusta Nardini, nrd) aveva rivolto a nome dell’assemblea a tutti i Superiori Maggiori al termine della celebrazione eucaristica di Domenica 23 giugno 2024, nel Santuario San Guido M. Conforti, ha pensato di condividerle con i suoi confratelli: “Alcuni ricordano il nostro gruppo per nome nelle loro preghiere: non è un dettaglio.” 

“Buongiorno a tutti. Siamo alla cerimonia di congedo ed io mi sento particolarmente onorata ed emozionata ad essere qui tra voi che venite dai quattro angoli della Terra. In queste passate settimane siete stati impegnati in una " scuola " di leadership, per poter meglio dirigere le vostre comunità ed affrontare le difficoltà che senza dubbio vi troverete a fronteggiare.

Quando p. Nicola Colasuonno mi ha affidato l’incarico di salutarvi, mentre meditavo sul come riuscire a sbrigarmela, ho avuto come una visione. Ho pensato a voi come a un fuoco artificiale. Quelli che da una piccola fiammella scoppiano aprendosi per il cielo e occupandolo tutto con colori sfolgoranti. Ecco è proprio così che vi immagino: da quello che avete imparato qui nella Casa Madre, voi andrete in tutto il mondo e la fiammella diventerà un grande fuoco per far sì che le vostre comunità possano crescere in numero, ma soprattutto in spiritualità.

Noi vi ringraziamo per tutto quanto fate e soprattutto farete e siamo onorati di avervi avuto in mezzo a noi. Recate anche i nostri saluti alle vostre comunità e soprattutto la nostra preghiera con la quale sempre vi siamo vicini nel Signore Gesù, per intercessione di San Guido Maria Conforti.

Come segno tangibile del nostro affetto vi consegniamo questa candelina che porterete con voi e che, oltre a farvi ricordare di noi, comunità di Parma, vi illumini nella vostra preziosa opera di Apostoli del Signore…”. 

After the last Cosuma, Parma, June 8 – 23, 2024 one of the participants wrote to the confreres of his circumscription to bring the greetings and assure the prayers of the many friends he had met. Particularly impressed by the warm and meaningful words spoken by a lay woman on behalf of all those attending the liturgy at the St. Guido M. Conforti Shrine last Sunday, June 23, 2024, he shared them with his confreres: “Some people do remember our group by name in their prayers: not a minor detail.”

“Good morning, everyone! At this Departure ceremony, I feel particularly honored and moved to be here among you who come from all corners of the world. These past weeks you have attended a “school of leadership” to better lead your communities and be ready to face those difficulties you will undoubtedly meet.  

When Father Nicola Colasuonno assigned me the task to address you and I thought about how to manage this challenge, I had something like a vision. I thought of you as fireworks: a small flame causes a burst that shoots up into the sky and spreads glowing colors all over. This is exactly how I think of you; leaving the Mother House with all you have learned these days; you will move to all areas of the world and that small spark will become a big fire that will allow your communities not only to grow in number but especially intensify your spiritual life. 

We thank you for all you are doing and, most of all for what you will continue to do; we are honored for the time you spent among us. Bring our greetings to your communities; assure them of our prayer that makes us feel close to you in our Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of Saint Guido Maria Conforti.

As a concrete sign of our affection, we offer you a small candle you might want to take with you; besides reminding you of us, this community of Parma, it wishes to symbolize the light of the Lord who enlightens you in the precious mission as His Apostles…”.
