Mercoledì 29 settembre 2021, nel pieno dei lavori della Cosuma si terrà la prevista celebrazione di una liturgia penitenziale di tutta la famiglia Saveriana nel contesto dello spirito dell’anno giubilare. Il proposito della celebrazione è quello di riconoscere come la testimonianza della famiglia saveriana sia contrastata anche dalla debolezza delle azioni dei suoi figli. La penitenza è quella metanoia - conversione del cuore - che è all'inizio della fede e dell'entrata nel Regno; quel necessario ritorno in noi e al Padre che l’annuncio del dono del Vangelo ai fratelli e sorelle non cristiani ci spinge a fare.

On Wednesday, September 29^th – 2021, in the course of the CoSuMa work, the planned celebration of a Penitential Liturgy of the entire Xaverian Family will be held in the context and spirit of the Jubilee Year. The purpose of the celebrations is to recognize how the witness of the Xaverian Family is also thwarted by the weakness in the actions of its members. Penance is that metanoia – conversion of heart – which is at the beginning of our journey of faith and entry into the Kingdom; it is a necessary return into our self and to the Father; we are compelled to such return by the very Gospel that through our proclamation we offer to our non-Christian brothers and sisters.
