Nella sezione Amare la nostra vocazione saveriana, P. Tiziano Tosolini, sx condivide un saggio interessante dal titolo: Il postmoderno. Alcuni concetti per comprendere l’umore culturale europeo. L’autore conclude il suo studio, descrivendo il milieu dell’Occidente come: «… terra del tramonto in cui «gli dei son fuggiti» (Heidegger), questo è il luogo, lo spazio ed il tempo in cui un supplemento di nostalgia, di responsabilità, compassione, e tras-ascendenza (di un attraversare salendo) deve essere iniettato dai missionari e missionarie nell’ormai esausto corpo postmoderno. We would like to thank our Indonesian confrere Fr. Ferdinandus Supandri, sx who addresses the next General Chapter, introducing his written reflection as follows: "I like to start from the word animation: "to give a missionary soul" to our action; to give a soul to our doing mission, but also to our being missionary! ... By “giving a missionary soul” to our doing mission, I mean, first of all, to indicate the being and doing of Jesus. And this includes his mentality, his spirit, and his ways”. In Loving our Xaverian vocation, Fr. Tiziano Tosolini, sx, shares an interesting essay entitled: Postmodernism. Some concepts to understand the European cultural mood. The author concludes his study, describing the milieu of the West as: "... land of the sunset where" the gods have fled "(Heidegger), this is the place, the space and the time in which a supplement of nostalgia, responsibility, compassion, and trans-ascendance (of a crossing going up) must be injected by men and women missionaries into the exhausted postmodern body.
