BRASILE NORD
Belém, parrocchia di São Francesco Saverio, 06 Marzo: il GAMIX (Gruppo Amici Saveriani) e altri laici hanno vissuto un incontro di spiritualità riflettendo sulla “Misericordiae Vultus”. Con la partecipazione del Prof. Angelo Paganelli. Belem, 21 Marzo: piú di 150 tra sacerdoti e diaconi dell’Archidiocesi, con l’arcivescovo e il suo ausiliare , hanno partecipato al ritiro su “E lo riconobbero allo spezzar del pane” dettato da P. Giovanni Martoccia.A Belém dal 15 al 21 agosto si celebrerà il XVII Congresso Eucaristico Nazionale.
DIOCESI DELL'ALTO SOLIMÕES
Da Tabatinga Dom Adolfo invia «Uma Feliz Páscoa para toda a família Xaveriana! Um grande abraço». Durante la Settimana di Pasqua presiederà i lavori degli addetti alla pastorale che si incon-treranno per programmare quanto deciso nel-l’Assemblea Diocesana. La settimana successiva Dom Adolfo parteciperà all’Assemblea dei Vescovi del Brasile a Aparecida. Il tema principale dell’incontro é "I cristiani laici nella chiesa e nella società". Il vescovo augura «che la luce del Risorto illumini i cammini della missione»!
REPUBBLICA DEMOCRATICA DEL CONGO
Ngene, 23 marzo: Presenti P. Generale e P. López, il vescovo di Kasongo ha benedetto la Chiesa “Ste Famille”, costruita nel 1963 dai Padri Bianchi, ristrutturata nel 1997 da Fr. Gregato e ampliata ora da P. Mazzocchin, con una capienza di 1500 persone. Un grazie particolare alla famiglia Lanaro che ha dato un buon sostegno per i lavori, in ricordo dell’opera missionaria di P. Piergiorgio, morto tragicamente nel 2010.

19 marzo, Solennità di S. Giuseppe: le Suore Giuseppine hanno celebrato il Centenario di fondazione della congregazione con una professione perpetua e un 25° di professione: i primi dopo la dispersione del 1954. Le suore pregano per le famiglie Saveriane, e in questo momento particolare chiedono preghiere per loro.

NORTH BRAZIL
Belém, St. Francis Xavier parish, 6 Mar: the GAMIX (Group of Xaverian Friends) and other lay people attended a spirituality meeting to reflect on the document “Misericordiae Vultus”. Prof. Angelo Paganelli took part. Belém, 21 Mar: more than 150 priests and deacons of the archdiocese, with the archbishop and his auxiliary, took part in the retreat on the topic “They recognized him in the breaking of bread”, which was preached by Fr. Giovanni Martoccia. Belém, 15-21 Aug: XVII National Eucharistic Congress.
DIOCESE OF ALTO SOLIMÕES
Bishop Adolfo Zon writes from Tabatinga: «Uma Feliz Páscoa para toda a família Xaveriana! Um grande abraço». During Easter Week Bishop Adolfo will preside over the work of the group that will meet to plan the implementation of the decisions taken by the Diocesan Assembly. The following week he will take part in the Assembly of Brazilian bishops in Aparecida. The main topic of the meeting will be: "Christian lay people in the Church and society ". The bishop hopes «that the light of the Risen Christ will enlighten the journey of the mission»!
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Ngene, 23 Mar: in the presence of the Superior General and Fr. López, the bishop of Kasongo blessed the church of the “Ste Famille”, which was built in 1963 by the White Fathers, restructured in 1997 by Br. Gregato and extended by Fr. Mazzocchin. It can hold 1.500 people. Special thanks go to the Lanaro family who supported the prject in memory of the missionary work of Fr. Piergiorgio, who died tragically in 2010.
CHINA
19 Mar, Solemnity of St. Joseph: the Sisters of St. Joseph celebrated their Centenary of foundation with a final profession and silver jubilee (25 years) of profession, the first since the 1954 dispersion. The sisters pray for the Xaverian Families and, at this particular moment, they also ask for prayers for themselves.

La grazia e la pace del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo sia con voi
Carissimi Confratelli, Buona Pasqua!
È un augurio ricco di benedizione e di speranza per ciascuno di noi, perché con questo augurio ci ripetiamo l’un l’altro le parole di S. Paolo:
Ora, invece, Cristo è risuscitato dai morti, primizia di coloro che sono morti (1Cor 15,20). E da queste parole, cioè dalla solida fede in Cristo risorto, prende forma e forza tutta la nostra vita apostolica.
I neofiti, i neobattezzati di ogni età, tutti coloro che si sono riconciliati con Dio e con il prossimo, ora sono apostoli, testimoni di misericordia, vita nuova, speranza per la Chiesa e la società intere.
Stiamo vivendo la Pasqua del Giubileo straor-dinario della Misericordia e i nostri occhi sono puntati sulle tante aree umane e geografiche dove la Misericordia è assente, dove addirittura la Misericordia non sembra mai essere esistita.
La nostra Famiglia, fortificata dalla fede nel Signore risorto e dall’esempio dei nostri fratelli e sorelle martiri, tenga aperti gli occhi, guardi con coraggio dove la Misericordia ci chiama ad operare, annunci con coerenza di vita il Signore e sappia sempre scegliere la Volontà di Dio.
Crediamo nel Signore Risorto, seguiamo il Signore Risorto, doniamoci incondizionatamente al Signore Risorto.
Buona Pasqua e Buon Giubileo della Misericordia. Il Signore ci doni il suo Spirito perché possiamo riposizionarci, ristrutturarci, rimetterci fedelmente alla sequela di Lui che ha vinto la morte.
Tanti e sinceri Auguri anche alle Sorelle Saveriane, alle Sorelle Giuseppine, ai Laici Saveriani e a tutti coloro che collaborano con dedizione nelle nostre Comunità.

EASTER GREETINGS OF THE SUPERIOR GENERAL
May the grace and peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Happy Easter!
These Easter wishes are rich with blessings and hope for each one of us because with them we repeat to each other the words of St. Paul:
Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep (1Cor 15:20). Our entire apostolic life receives its form and strength from these words, from our solid faith in Christ.
The neophytes, the newly-baptized of all ages, and all of those who are reconciled with God and neighbor, are now apostles, witnesses to mercy, new life and hope for the Church and for the whole of society.
We are celebrating Easter 2016 in the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, and our eyes look upon the many human and geographical contexts where Mercy is absent, where it even seems to have never existed.
May our Family, strengthened by faith in the Risen Lord, and by the example of our brothers and sisters who are among the martyrs, keep its eyes open, look with courage to wherever Mercy is calling us to work, proclaim the Lord through a consistent life and always choose the Will of God.
We believe in the Risen Lord, we follow the Risen Lord, we give ourselves to the Risen Lord unconditionally.
Happy Easter and a Happy Jubilee of Mercy! May the Lord bestow upon us his Spirit that we may make a new beginning, restructure and follow faithfully the One who has conquered death.
