DIREZIONE GENERALE
Aggiornato al Settembre 2015, è stato pubblicato in Italiano e in Inglese, il “Vademecum. Guida pratica per l’applicazione di orientamenti e norme ecclesiastiche e saveriane”.
La nuova edizione del Vademecum presenta due novità: una Scheda Formativa (SF 17) sulla Formazione Permanente e una Giuridica (SG 11) circa la Cessione dell’amministrazione dei beni patrimoniali.
A partire da alcune decisioni della Cosuma 2015, si sono pur aggiornate le seguenti schede: Scheda Giuridica (SG 07) Argomenti vari, Schede formative SF 07 (Noviziato), SF 13 (Professione perpetua), SF 14 (Ministeri Ordinati) e SF 15 (Saveriano Fratello).
Non si nasconde l’ambizione che il Vademecum acquisti sempre più spazio nella vita ordinaria delle Circoscrizioni, e favorisca uno stile che accomuni nella spiritualità, nell’accoglienza reciproca, nel metodo di lavoro e negli obiettivi da raggiungere.
ROMA
Una ventina di studenti Saveriani partecipa all’Incontro mondiale dei giovani consacrati e consacrate in svolgimento a Roma (15-19 settembre 2015) su Anno della Vita Consacrata, Svegliate il mondo, Vangelo Profezia Speranza. “Chiamò a sé quelli che egli volle ed essi andarono da lui”(Mc 3,13).
FILIPPINE
Manila, 12 Settembre: Seicento religiosi, sacerdoti diocesani e laici hanno partecipato al Primo Convegno Diocesano sulla Vita Consacrata organizzato dalla diocesi di Novaliches. Tra i partecipanti anche quattro nostri confratelli e gli studenti di Teologia. Gli obiettivi del Convegno erano: far apprezzare la presenza delle persone consacrate nella diocesi, favorire le vocazioni, e incoraggiare il dialogo tra clero, religiosi e laici.
BURUNDI
Bujumbura: Preceduta da un ritiro spirituale, si è tenuta la nostra assemblea ordinaria il 16 e 17 sett. Tema principale all’ordine del giorno i contenuti della COSUMA Tavernerio 2015.
In un clima di gioia abbiamo festeggiato i due confratelli da poco ordinati presbiteri Leonidasi, destinato al Burundi e Epitace pronto a partire per il Mozambico.
La situazione sociopolitica del paese non ci lascia del tutto tranquilli.

GENERAL DIRECTION
The “Vademecum” Document was revised by September 2015 and published in Italian and in English. “The Vademecum is a practical guide in the application of Ecclesial and Xaverian norms”.
The new edition contains two new items: A Formation Index Card (SF 17) on Permanent Formation, and a Juridical One (SG 11) on the Renunciation of Patrimonial Temporal Goods.
In the spirit of decisions taken by the COSUMA 2015, also the following Index Cards were updated: The Juridical Index Card (SG 07) dealing with various items, The Index Formation Card SF 10 (Novitiate), SF 13 (Perpetual Profession), SF 14 (Ordination Ministries) and SF 15 (Xaverian Brothers). There is an evident intention that the Vademecums assume their proper role and place in the ordinary life of all confreres in all Circumscriptions and may favor a common life-style which will reflect the same spirituality, fraternal welcoming, method of work and pursuance of the same objectives.
ROME
About 20 Xaverian Theology Students from Parma were present at the World Encounter of consecrated young men and women. It has taken place in Rome, September 15 – 19, on the theme of The Year of Consecrated Life, “Wake up the world – Gospel - Prophecy -Hope. “He called to him those he desired and they came to him” (Mc 3,13).
PHILIPPINES
Manila – Six hundred religious, lay people and secular priest were present at the First Diocesan Congress on Consecrated Life organized by the Diocese of Novaliches on September 12, 2015. Four confreres and all the theology students were among the participants. The Objectiveof the Congress was to enable a deeper appreciation for the presence of consecrated people in the Diocese, promote vocations, and foster interaction among clergy, religious and laity.
BURUNDI
Bujumbura: Our Provincial Ordinary Assembly, preceded by a spiritual retreat, took place on September 16th and 17th. The main item were the issues dealt by the COSUMA 2015 of Tavernerio.
In an atmosphere of joy we celebrated the recent Ordination of our confreres Fr. Leonidasi, assigned to Burundi, and Fr. Epitace, ready to leave for Mozambique.
The Sociopolitical reality does not provide us with much tranquility.
