Dal 26 al 28 dicembre 2024 si è tenuta la “Asamblea de Navidad” della circoscrizione del Messico. Abbiamo iniziato con l'Eucaristia presieduta dal superiore regionale, p. Juan Jorge Rosales Rodríguez. In seguito, il superiore generale, p. Fernando García Rodríguez, ha condiviso con noi il tema: “La vocazione Saveriana”. 

Venerdì 27 dicembre, Dr. Luis Ignacio Román Morales (economista, professore e ricercatore Universidad Jesuita en Guadalajara, México) ha presentato un'analisi dell'attuale situazione sociopolitica. Abbiamo poi affrontato due temi: 1) “Discernimento e decisione della parrocchia missionaria urbana”; 2) Formazione permanente: “Corso continentale”. Nel pomeriggio è stato presentato “il processo di unificazione di Filosofia e Teologia con sede a Guadalajara”; quindi il Sig. Federico López Jiménez, presidente del Consiglio dei Laici Saveriani, ha fatto una breve relazione sul cammino fatto, con un breve intervento di p. Felipe de Jesús López Orozco. La sera, dopo la cena, c'è stato un momento di convivialità. Sabato, i coordinatori dei Segretariati e delle Commissioni regionali hanno fatto una breve sintesi dei progressi compiuti. P. Juan Jorge Rosales Rodríguez ha tenuto un'esortazione sulla cura dei confratelli anziani e malati della circoscrizione. Infine, p. Fernando García Rodríguez ha riassunto le questioni importanti della circoscrizione e della congregazione. Abbiamo concluso con l'Eucaristia presieduta dallo stesso p. Fernando García Rodríguez. From December 26^th to 28^th, 2024, the circumscription of Mexico held its Asamblea de Navidad (Christmas Assembly). It started with a Mass presided over by the Regional Superior, Fr. Juan Jorge Rosales Rodriguez. Then, the Superior General, Fr. Fernando García Rodríguez, shared with us some thoughts on the theme: “The Xaverian Vocation.” 

On Friday December 27^th, economist Dr. Luis Ignacio Román Morales (professor and researcher at Universidad Jesuita en Guadalajara, Mexico) offered an analysis on the current socio-political situation. Subsequently, we dealt with two topics: 1) “Discernment on and decision about a urban missionary parish;” 2) On-going formation: “A continental programme”. In the afternoon, the “process for unifying the Philosophical and Theological studies in one single place in Guadalajara” was introduced; then, Mr Federico López Jiménez, President of the Lay Xaverian Council, gave a brief report on the journey of the laity, followed by a short speech of Fr. Felipe de Jesús López Orozco. In the evening, after supper, there was a moment of jovial gathering. On Saturday, the coordinators of the regional Secretariats and Commissions presented a summary of the progresses made. Fr. Juan Jorge Rosales Rodríguez emphasises the need to take care for the elderly and sick confreres of the Circumscription. Finally, Fr. Fernando García Rodríguez summarised the important issues for both the circumscription and the congregation. A Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr.
