un caro saluto dal Consiglio Generale. Vi scrivo a nome della Direzione Generale per annunciarvi la realizzazione del Convegno sul Volto umano del Saveriano.

Questo Convegno è organizzato per dare riposta ad una precisa richiesta del XVIII Capitolo Generale (cf XVIII CG 63) per animare tutta la Congregazione ad una riflessione su questa importante costante della nostra vita saveriana.

DOVE: Casa Madre di Parma.

QUANDO: dal mercoledì 17 giugno a pranzo di 28 giugno del 2026.

PARTECIPANTI: La Direzione Generale, rappresentanti delle 21 Circoscrizioni e della Famiglia Carismatica Saveriana.

In preparazione a questo evento, la Commissione per la Formazione Permanente elaborerà tre schede che saranno inviate alle Circoscrizioni per essere studiate e condivise nel mese di novembre 2025, gennaio e marzo 2026.

L’annuncio di questo convegno nel giorno in cui ricordiamo i 123 anni della Consacrazione Religiosa ed Episcopale del nostro Santo Fondatore possa ispirare il cammino della Congregazione in preparazione a questo importante evento di famiglia.

Dear Confreres,

Warm greetings from the General Council. I write to you on behalf of the General Direction to announce the organization of the Conference on the Human Face of the Xaverian.

This Conference is being organized in response to a specific request of the 18th General Chapter (cf. 18th GC 63), to encourage the entire Congregation to reflect on this important and enduring aspect of our Xaverian life.

WHERE: Mother House in Parma.

WHEN: From lunch on Wednesday, June 17 to June 28, 2026.

PARTICIPANTS: The General Direction, representatives from the 21 Xaverians’s Circumscriptions, and members of the Xaverian Charismatic Family.

In preparation for this event, the Commission for Ongoing Formation will prepare three study guides, which will be sent to the Circumscriptions to be studied and shared during the months of November 2025, January 2026 and March 2026.

May the announcement of this conference, on the day we commemorate the 123rd anniversary of the Religious and Episcopal Consecration of our Holy Founder, inspire the journey of the Congregation as we prepare for this important family event.
