Vaticano - Domenica 6 ottobre. Con la celebrazione eucaristica nella basilica di san Pietro, ha avuto inizio l’Assemblea Speciale del Sinodo dei Vescovi per la regione Pan-Amazzonica (6-27 ottobre). Tra i partecipanti i nostri confratelli Mons. Adolfo Zon Pereira, Vescovo dell’Alto Solimões, e P. Pedro Saúl Ruíz Álvarez, Superiore Regionale del Brasile Nord, in rappresentanza dei religiosi della regione amazzonica. In attività collaterali al sinodo, è presente anche P. Diego Pelizzari della regione del Brasile Sud che lavora nella pastorale indigenista, e che accompagna un gruppo di indios per far loro da interprete in una serie di conferenze e testimonianze che questi sono chiamati a dare durante i lavori del Sinodo.

VATICAN – Sunday, October 6^th – 2019. The Special assembly of the Bishops for the Pan-Amazon Region (October 7 -27) initiated with the Eucharistic Celebration in St. Peter’s Basilica.  Among the participants, there are our confreres Bishop Adolfo Zon Pereira, Bishop of Alto Solimões and F. Pedro Saúl Ruíz Alvarez, Regional Superior of North Brazil, representing the Religious of the Amazon Region. 

For additional activities at the Synod, also Fr. Diego Pelizzari, s.x. is present. Fr. Diego Pelizzari is working among the Indigenous people of his area.  He is presently accompanying a group of Indios and is acting as translator in a whole series of conferences and experiences for which the Indios have been invited to share during the working time of the Synod.
