(Gv 20,18)...L’essere missionari per vocazione è un grande regalo che il Signore ci fa. Attraverso la nostra povera umanità il Signore si fa presente nel cuore di tante persone che lo cercano e desiderano. È l’esperienza che sto facendo in questo periodo di visite alle comunità saveriane. Incontrando i confratelli incontriamo anche il frutto del loro servizio missionario, cioè le giovani comunità cristiane servite da loro…”

“Dear ones, from Bukavu, where I am at this moment, I send you, on behalf of the GD, best wishes for the celebration of the Paschal Mystery. I have seen the Lord! (Jn 20: 18): this cry of Mary of Magdala has been resonating throughout the Church’s history and leading the faith of the Christian community till today… To be called to be missionary is the great gift we received from the Lord. Through our own poor humanity, the Lord makes himself present in the heart of many people who search and yearn for him. This is what I am experiencing in this period of visits to the Xaverian communities. While meeting our confreres, we also meet the fruits of their missionary service, that is, the young Christian communities they are serving…”
