Il sabato 7 e la domenica 8 settembre nella Parrocchia di Kamenge, intitolata al nostro Fondatore, a cinque anni di distanza dal massacro delle sorelle Olga, Lucia e Bernardetta abbiamo rivissuto i terribili momenti del massacro attraverso testimoninaze, preghiere e silenzio. L’abitazione delle nostre sorelle, trasformata in «Cappella della Pace e del perdono» è stata meta di innumerevoli persone, credenti e non credenti, alla ricerca di un momento di comunione con le nostre sorelle associato ad un sempre vivo desiderio della verità . C’è meno paura a parlare. I protagonisti della tragedia, quelli che sono sopravissuti all’inevitabile pulizia del dopo-operazione potrebbero fare un passo in più verso un auspicabile pentimento e permettere a tutti , Olga, Lucia e Bernardetta comprese, di ritrovare pace e serenità nella Verità.

On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th, September – 2019, in our Parish of Kamenge, named after our Founder, St. Guido Maria Conforti, in the fifth anniversary of the massacre of our Xaverian Sisters Olga, Lucia and Bernardetta, we relived the terrible moments of the massacre through the testimonies and accounts of our friends and through our prayers and silence. The living quarters of the Xaverian Sisters were transformed into “a Chapel of peace and forgiveness”.  They were visited by a great number of persons, both believers and non-believers, searching for a moment of communion with our Xaverian Sisters and deeply desiring to know the truth.  Now there is less fear of talking.  The protagonists of this tragedy, those who survived the unavoidable cleansing by the police, could take an extra step toward a most desirable repentance.  They could allow all of us, including our Sisters Olga, Lucia and Bernardetta, to find peace and serenity in the Truth.
