Oltre alla graduale riabilitazione post-operatoria di p. Angelo Guttoriello, nella nostra Casa di Formazione abbiamo due studenti con malaria. Si stanno riprendendo abbastanza bene. In Burundi la gente ora parla ovunque del Covid 19. Secondo me, se il nostro personale medico lavora sodo, possiamo sopravvivere anche a questa seconda ondata del virus. Ci sono alcuni farmaci locali che hanno curato le persone contagiate. Con l'apertura delle frontiere stiamo ricevendo ammalati provenienti dall'estero. Continuiamo a pregare e a sperare. Dio ha protetto i poveri in Africa. (Gabriel Basuzwa s.x.)

Apart from the gradual recovery from surgery of Fr Angelo Guttoriello, in our Formation House we have two students suffering from malaria. They are recovering pretty well. In Burundi people are now talking about corona everywhere. According to me, if our medical personnel work hard, we can survive even this second upsurge of corona. There are some local medications that have cured people from corona. Yet with the opening of frontiers, we are receiving sick people coming from abroad. We continue to pray and to hope.
