Nonostante le tante restrizioni poste dalla legge sulle Religioni, il Capitolo Generale delle Suore Giuseppine, fondate da Mons Calza nel 1916, si è svolto regolarmente dal 14 al 20 Gennaio 2019, in un clima abbastanza sereno.

Oltre alla revisione delle Regole, il tema principale era: “come affrontare la presente situazione dove tutte le Chiese e i conventi sono stati chiusi e le suore disperse.”

Con una rinnovata e genuina fiducia nella Provvidenza, con grande spirito di fede, e incoraggiata da tutte le suore, la nuova Direzione, nei giorni seguenti al capitolo si è incontrata per la programmazione.

La nuova Direzione rinnova la richiesta di una preghiera speciale alle due Congregazioni Saveriane.

Notwithstanding the many law restrictions on Religions, the General Chapter of the Sisters of St. Joseph, founded by Mons. Calza in 1916, took place from Jan. 14th  to 20^th  in a fairly serene context.  Besides the revision of their Rules, the main theme was: “How to live the present situation, where all Churches and convents are closed and the sisters live scattered”.

With renewed and genuine trust in Divine Providence, with great spirit of faith, and encouraged by all the sisters, the New Administration, soon after the General Chapter, met to formulate their new program.

The New Administration renews a heartfelt request to the two Xaverian Congregations for their prayer.
