Nella piccola comunità Saveriana e parrocchiale di Taipei abbiamo celebrato la memoria di San Guido con profonda partecipazione - nei nostri piccoli numeri. Il giorno 5, dopo la preghiera dell’ora media, abbiamo presentato ai sacerdoti del decanato il primo clip sulla Lettera Testamento preparato da P. Gabriel Arroyo s.x., con l'aggiunta dei sottotitoli in Cinese e un breve commento da parte di 4 confratelli.  A seguire, una agape fraterna.

Alla sera, dopo l'adorazione eucaristica, la condivisione di una esperienza di crescita nella fede e nell'azione missionaria, attraverso la preghiera, l'amore alla Scrittura, la passione per le anime, la partecipazione alla vita della comunità. A conclusione, la torta del centenario, sulla quale tutti abbiamo soffiato insieme, e siccome tutti soffiavamo, le candeline non si spegnevano! Un auspicio? Domenica 8, dopo la Messa parrocchiale, una esperienza di conversione, seguita dal clip sulla LT e il tema: Un futuro pieno di speranza, svolto a partire dalla Lettera della DG per il centenario. A tutti, infine, abbiamo offerto il testo cinese rivisto della LT.

The small Xaverian and parish community of Taipei celebrated the feast of St. Guido Maria Conforti with deep participation,  not limited by the smallness of our number.  On November 5^th, in the middle of the day, and after the prayer of the Breviary, we presented to all the priests of our deanary, the first part of the comment, written by Fr- Gabriel Arroyo, s.x., on the Testament Letter of our Founder.  We added the various subtitles in the Chinese Language, and an appropriate comment by our four confreres.  There followed a fraternal dinner together.

In  the evening, after the Eucharistic Adoration, we shared an experience of growth in the faith and missionary activity, through prayer, love of Sacred Scripture, brotherly passionate commitment to all brothers and sisters, total participation in our community life.  At the very end, there was the Jubilee Cake.  Since we all together attempted to blow off the candles, the candles did not go out!  A wish?  On Sunday, November 8^th – 2020, after the celebration of the Eucharist in the parish church, we presented a conversion experience, followed by a clip on the Testament Letter, and the theme: “A future full of hope, carried out starting from the DG’s Letter for the centenary.”    Finally, we have offered to everyone a revised Chinese text of the Testament Letter.
