Lunedì 2 ottobre 2023, all’alba, a Bukavu (RDC) è deceduto il Signor LUPUPU MAKYAMBI Gaëtan, all’età di 79, padre del nostro confratello p. Emmanuel Adili Mwassa, rettore del Teologato Internazionale di Parma: [email protected]

Il Signor Lupupu è stato un “Laïc engagé” del Centro Catechetico e Pastorale di Uvira (RDC) sin dai tempi di Mons. Danilo Catarzi sx, vescovo di Uvira (1962-1981) e di p. Carlo Catellani sx (Direttore dello stesso Centre Catéchétique) .

Il compito del Signor Lupupu era di accompagnare la formazione dei Catechisti della Diocesi.

La celebrazione eucaristica corpore praesenti è stata celebrata nella parrocchia di Mwenga, suo paese di origine, venerdì 06 ottobre 2023, alle ore 14.00. Dopo l’Eucaristia è seguito il pietoso rito della tumulazione.

On Monday, October 2^nd, 2023, at dawn, 79-year-old Mr LUPUPU MAKYAMBI Gaétan, father of our confrere Fr. Emmanuel Adili Mwassa, currently rector of the International Theologate of Parma, passed away in Bukavu (RDC): [email protected]

Mr Lupupu has been a “committed Lay Christian” of the Catechetical and Pastoral Cetnre of Uvira (DRC) since when Msgr. Danilo Catarzi s.x. was Bishop of Uvira (1962-1981) and Fr. Carlo Catellani s.x. director of the same Centre.

Mr Lupupu’s task consisted in accompanying the training of the catechists of the Diocese.

The Requiem Mass, corpore praesenti, was celebrated in the Mwenga Parish, his native town, on Friday, October 6th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. The burial rites followed after the Eucharistic celebration.
