Domenica 10 maggio 2026, il nostro confratello p. Eugenio Montesi è stato onorato dalla Comunità Italiana in Scozia, conferendogli la “Medaglia Annuale Italia-Scozia” per i suoi decenni di cura e sostegno alla comunità italiana. Il patrono dell’ente benefico, Sir Anton Muscatelli, ha consegnato il premio a p. Eugenio Montesi, “stupito dal fatto che p. Eugenio sia ancora così attivo all’età di 86 anni!”.
La cerimonia si è svolta durante il pranzo annuale di Italia-Scozia, tenutosi al ristorante “da Sandro”, a Glasgow West End. È stata una giornata speciale anche per tutte le mamme presenti, in quanto in Italia si celebrava la Festa della Mamma. (Patrick Duffy sx)

GLASGOW – UK – “AWARDED” BY THE ITALIAN COMMUNITY IN SCOTLAND
On Sunday May 10th, 2026, our confrere Fr. Eugenio Montesi was honoured by the Italian Community in Scotland. He has been awarded the “Annual Italian Scotland Medal” for his decades of care and support of the Italian community. The charity’s Patron, Sir Anton Muscatelli presented Fr. Eugenio with the Award, “amazed that Fr. Eugenio is still so active at the age of 86!”.
The ceremony took place at the Annual Italian Scotland Lunch which was held at Sandro’s restaurant in Glasgow’s West End. It was also a special day too for all the mums present and remembered as this is the Festa della Mamma in Italy. (Patrick Duffy sx)
