“...Continuo a seguire le notizie dalle Filippine sul terremoto le cui scosse si ripetono ad intervalli. Sembra che tutto il paese stia tremando. Grazie a Dio, la mia famiglia è al sicuro. Malgrado le migliaia di scosse di assestamento, nella mia città natale [Bayabas, Danao City, Cebu, Philippines – Ed.] non ci sono stati danni. Oggi [domenica, 12 ottobre 2025 – ndr], alle 13:00 c’è stata un’altra scossa di magnitudine 6 nello stesso epicentro del terremoto del 30 settembre, ossia a Bogo City, Cebu. Visayas, Mindanao e, a nord, Luzon, sono rimaste danneggiate. Molti adesso sono turbati e traumatizzati. Ci sono scosse a qualsiasi ora del giorno. La gente vive nella paura anche prima di andare a dormire la sera. La metropolitana di Manila ha lanciato un’allerta, specialmente a Quezon City, Marikina, Manila, Valenzuela e in altre città dell’area metropolitana di Manila che si trovano sulla faglia sismica. Manila ha edifici enormi ed è molto popolata. "... I keep following news from Philippines of the earthquake every now and then. It seems the whole country is shaking. My family is safe thanks be to God. No big damages in my hometown [Bayabas, Danao City, Cebu, Philippines, Ed.] though thousands of aftershocks. At 1pm here today [Sunday, October 12, 2025, Ed.] there was another tremor, magnitude 6.0, in the same place of Bogo city in Cebu the epicentre of last Sept 30. Visayas, Mindanao and Luzon in the north are now shaken up. Many are unsettled and in trauma. At any hour of the day there are tremors. People are living in fear before sleeping in the night. There's an alert given to Metro Manila especially Quezon City, Marikina, Manila, Valenzuela and other cities which are in the fault lines. Manila has huge buildings and many populations.
