La comunità Saveriana del IV Piano della Casa Madre di Parma ha detto il suo “Sì” all’invito di Papa Leone XIV di fare di questo giorno 22 agosto 2025, memoria della Beata Vergine Maria Regina, un’occasione per unirci giorno e notte e pregare all’unisono per la pace.

Annunciando la Giornata di Preghiera e digiuno, il Santo Padre ha ricordato che “Maria è la Madre dei fedeli qui sulla terra ed è ricordata come Regina della Pace”, e quindi, mentre il mondo continua ad essere afflitto dalla guerra, il Papa ha esortato tutti i fedeli a partecipare a “una giornata di preghiera e digiuno” per tutti coloro che soffrono a causa della guerra, “implorando il Signore di concederci la pace e la giustizia, e di asciugare le lacrime di coloro che soffrono a causa dei conflitti armati in corso”. “Possa Maria, Regina della Pace”, ha detto papa Leone XIV, “intercedere affinché i popoli possano trovare la via della pace”.
