Ringraziamo innanzitutto il Signore perché in questo Natale abbiamo sperimentato in modo speciale la Sua presenza, tanto da poter dire con il nostro Fondatore che il Signore non poteva più buono con noi. La comunità, pur divisa fisicamente, impoverita e ferita, si è sentita in comunione con i nostri confratelli defunti nell’attesa di poterci un giorno incontrare per una festa senza fine. Tutti noi ci siamo attivati nel tempo di Avvento per il ministero (messe e confessioni) offerto alle parrocchie e alle comunità religiose e i diversi lavori di preparazione delle feste. A tutt’oggi i nostri confratelli confessori continuano ad accogliere persone di ogni condizione che desiderano festeggiare la venuta del Signore in pace con Lui e con il proprio prossimo.

Mai come in questi ultimi tempi la fraternità e amicizia tra noi e la comunità dello Studentato teologico è stata vissuta in modo così intenso e gioioso, tanto da poter far nostre le parole del Salmista: “Ecco com’è bello e com’è dolce che i fratelli vivano insieme”. Come da tradizione i nostri giovani, sotto la saggia e sicura guida dell’economo, hanno addobbato la nostra casa con presepi per tutti i gusti.

Durante la novena e le celebrazioni natalizie il Santuario Conforti ha accolto con musiche celestiali (e qualche inevitabile stonatura!) un nutrito gruppo di fedeli che hanno sfidato il freddo e il gelo invernali. Un caro saluto a tutti i confratelli sparsi nel mondo. (Gabriele Cimarelli s.x.)

First of all, we thank the Lord, because this Christmas we have experienced God’s presence in a special way, so much so that we can say with our Founder that ‘the Lord could not have been any more good with us’.  The community, although physically separated, impoverished and wounded, felt in communion with our deceased confreres awaiting to be able to meet us one day for an endless feast.  In  this time of Advent, all of us were active in our ministry (Masses and Confessions) as requested by parishes and religious Communities.  Various were the services requested in preparation for the holidays. To this day, our confreres were and are busy for the ministry of reconciliation, welcoming the many persons of all conditions who  desire to celebrate the Lord’s coming and choose to live in love and in peace with Him and with all their neighbors.

Never before, had the friendship between us and the Theology Community  been so alive and so intensely joyful, so much so that we can make our own the words of the Psalmist: “How beautiful and how sweet it is that our  brothers live together.”  As per tradition, our young people , under the wise  and sure guidance of the community procurator have decorated our house with various cribs for all tastes.

During the Christmas Novena and Christmas Celebrations, the Conforti Sanctuary welcomed with celestial music  (and some inevitable  distortion!) a large group of faithful who braved the winter cold and frost.   Heartfelt greetings to all the confreres scattered throughout the world. (Fr.
