Dal 18 al 24 di Gennaio, nella casa generalizia a Roma, si è riunita la Commissione per la Formazione di base. Oltre alla Direzione Generale, hanno partecipato i membri della commissione: Janvier Busizori , Faustino Turco, Juan Olvera Servin, Yakobus Sriyatmoko (assente: p. Richard Nembouet). Altri confratelli (Mauro Loda, Gerardo Pretel, Gilbert Mbula, Franciscus. X. Sudarmanto…) sono stati presenti in alcuni momenti dell’incontro.

Questo incontro è stato voluto dalla DG per dare seguito all’orientamento 59 del XVII CG, che chiedeva alla DG di creare una Commissione per la Formazione al fine di coordinare e armonizzare l’attività della Formazione nella Famiglia Saveriana» (iSaveriani 102, p.11). Questa commissione vuole essere un “luogo” di partecipazione e di discernimento. Collabora con e aiuta la DG nel servizio della Formazione di base, non escludendo modalità di interazione con la commissione incaricata della Formazione permanente. From January 18 – 24, in the House of the General Direction, the Commission for Basic Formation has met.  Besides members of the General Direction, also the following confreres were present: Janvier Busizori, Faustino Turco, Juan Olvera Servin, Yakobus Sriyatmoko (Fr. Richard Nembouet was absent). Other confreres were also present at different moments: Frs. Mauro Loda, Gerardo Pretel, Gilbert Mbula, Franciscus Sudarmanto ….:

This Encounter was wanted by the General Direction as a response to the orientation taken by the XVII GC, asking that the DG set up a Formation Commission, with the goal of coordinating and harmonizing the formation activity of the Xaverian Family (iSaveriani 102, p. 11).

This Commission desires to be a place of participation and discernment.  It collaborates and helps the GD in the area of Basic Formation, and does not exclude ways of interaction with the Commission of Permanent Formation.   (For more information on the activities of those days, you may consult the DG site.
