I Saveriani che vivono a Roma, in occasione dei ritiri mensili guidati dalla Biblista, madre e nonna, Rosanna Virgili, hanno l’opportunità di poter riflettere e pregare insieme su alcune figure femminili della Sacra Scrittura (Rut e Noemi, Giuditta ed Ester per l’AT; la madre di Gesù, Marta, Maria Maddalena… per il NT). La conoscenza del contesto e dell’ambiente in cui “nascono” e “operano” queste figure, la loro vocazione e la loro “metodologia” missionaria sono motivo di gratitudine, fiducia e…conversione.

The Xaverians living in Rome have the opportunity, during their monthly retreats led by Rosanna Virgili—a biblical scholar, mother, and grandmother—to reflect and pray together aided by several female figures present in the Sacred Scripture (Ruth and Naomi, Judith, and Esther from the Old Testament; the mother of Jesus, Martha, Mary Magdalene… in the New Testament). Understanding the context and environment in which these figures “arise” and “act,” as well as their vocation and their missionary “methodology,” becomes a source of gratitude, trust, and… conversion.
