Come religiosi e religiose Consacrati-e celebriamo la “Giornata della Vita Consacrata” nelle diverse diocesi dove lavoriamo. Per quanto riguarda l’Arcidiocesi di San Paolo, ci sarà la celebrazione eucaristica il 2 febbraio, alle ore 15, in cattedrale. L’incontro vuole essere una testimonianza della missione della Vita Consacrata nel mondo di oggi. Come impegno concreto in tempi di coronavirus tutte le famiglie religiose sono invitate a portare cibo non deperibile, vestiario, materiale igienico o calzature da distribuire ai poveri che stanno soffrendo le conseguenze della pandemia. Tale distribuzione viene rafforzata anche attraverso le opere di solidarietà portate avanti dalle stesse comunità religiose. As consecrated religious men and women, we will celebrate the Day for Consecrated Life in the dioceses where we work. As far as the Archdiocese of São Paulo is concerned, on February 2^nd, at 3:00 p.m., there will be a Eucharistic celebration in the Cathedral. That meeting is meant to be a witness of the mission of Consecrated Life in today’s world. As a concrete commitment in times of Coronavirus pandemic, all religious families have been requested to bring non-perishable food, clothing, toiletries or shoes which will be distributed to the poor that are suffering the consequences of the pandemic. The distribution will be supplemented by the works of solidarity that the same religious communities are carrying on.
