Taipei, 2-9 dicembre. Mons. Thomas Zhong An Zhu, Vescovo di Jia Yi e Presidente della Commissione per il Dialogo Interreligioso e l’Ecumenismo della Conferenza Regionale dei Vescovi Cinese (CRCB), e P. Paulin Batairwa Kubuya s.x., Segretario Esecutivo dell’Ufficio per il Dialogo Interreligioso della stessa Conferenza, hanno accompagnato una Delegazione di Leaders Protestanti (National Council of Churches of Taiwan) per una visita a Roma. Durante la visita hanno incontrato il Cardinale Kurt Koch, presidente del Pontificio Consiglio per la Promozione dell’Unità dei Cristiani, e hanno avuto un’udienza privata con Papa Francesco il giorno 7 dicembre. Il viaggio è stato programmato come una risposta locale ai passi concreti richiesti dal Papa per sostenere l’unità visibile durante quest’anno, che commemora il 500° anniversario della Riforma Protestante.

Taipei, Dec. 2 – 9. Mons. Thomas Zhong An Zhu, Bishop of Jia Yi and President of the Commission for Interreligious Dialogue and Ecumenism of the Chinese Regional Conference of Bishops (CRCB) and Fr. Paulin Batairwa Kubuya s.x., Executive Secretary of the Office for Interreligious Dialogue of the same Conference, will be accompanying a Delegation of Protestant Leaders (National Council of Churches of Taiwan) for a visit to Rome. During the visit they will meet with Card. Kurt Koch, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and have a private Audience with Pope Francis on Dec.7. The trip was thought as a local response to the Pope’s concrete steps for fostering “visible unity” during this year, commemorating the 500^th Anniversary of Protestant Reform.
