Per qualche anno abbiamo accarezzato l’idea di sviluppare una sorta di gruppo di Laici Saveriani che includesse gente desiderosa di conoscere maggiormente la spiritualità saveriana e lo stile di missione saveriano. Finalmente siamo stati in grado di offrire due incontri sul tema “Discepoli missionari: La via Saveriana.” Nel primo incontro abbiamo condiviso gli elementi fondamentali che costituiscono chi è e che cosa fa un laico saveriano; mentre nel secondo incontro, Don e Sharon hanno raccontato come il carisma saveriano li abbia guidati nelle loro vite.

È stata un’esperienza fruttuosa e speriamo, con la grazia di Dio, di continuare ad esplorare l’eredità di San Guido M. Conforti.

For some years we have been toying with the idea of developing a sort of Lay Xaverian group with people who want to learn more about the Xaverian Spirituality and the Xaverian Stile of Mission. Finally, we were able to offer two sessions on "Missionary Disciples: The Xaverian Way." During the first session, we shared the basics of who is and what a Lay Xaverian does, while during the second session, Don and Sharon shared how the Xaverian charism has guided them through their lives.

It has been a fruitful experience, and we hope, with the grace of God, to continue to explore the legacy of Saint Guido Conforti.
