Qualche mese fa mi è stato chiesto di controllare e aggiornare gli indirizzi postali e i numeri telefonici dei familiari dei nostri confratelli defunti della regione delle Marche (Italia). In questi due anni della mia presenza nella casa Saveriana di Ancona (Marche), non mi ero preoccupato di chiamare i parenti di questi nostri confratelli defunti. La richiesta di aggiornare i dati, con mia sorpresa, è stata una bella occasione di scambio e di condivisione. Quando riuscivo a parlare con qualche parente (fratello, sorella, nipote, pronipote), ho notato da parte di questi la gioia e la sorpresa di sentirsi chiamati, ricordati e raggiunti dalla famiglia Saveriana. Alcuni mi domandavano notizie di confratelli che avevano conosciuto frequentando la casa Saveriana o dei confratelli che avevano visitato le loro case. Sono rimasto colpito dal fratello di un Saveriano deceduto molti anni fa e di cui non avevo mai sentito parlare. Ebbene, questi era stato uno degli apostolini di Poggio San Marcello (Marche). La conversazione telefonica si è trasformata in una profonda e riconoscente condivisione degli anni di formazione trascorsi in quella casa e dei padri Saveriani che vi vivevano. Sono convinto che lo spirito di Famiglia debba coltivare i rapporti con i familiari dei nostri fratelli defunti. L’ Indirizzario ci deve aiutare anche in questo.  (Emilio Baldin sx)

Ringraziamo cordialmente per il prezioso contributo dei confratelli nell’inviare i dati aggiornati delle proprie famiglie. Un sentito grazie a p. Gianalfonso Oprandi sx per il paziente e ordinato lavoro di contattare telefonicamente molti familiari dei nostri confratelli defunti.   

Few months ago, I was asked to check and update the mail addresses and telephone numbers of our deceased confreres’ relatives in the Marche region (Italy). During the two years since I have been in the Xaverian house of Ancona (Marche), I have never bothered calling the relatives of these deceased confreres. To my surprise, the request to update their data has been a beautiful occasion for dialogue and sharing. Although in some case I was not good at talking with a certain relative (brother, sister, nephew, grandnephew), I noticed that from their part they were happy and surprised to receive a phone call, to be remembered and being reached by the Xaverian family. Some would ask me news about confreres they had known when attending the Xaverian house or about confreres that had paid visit to their families. I was particularly struck by the brother of one Xaverian that died many years ago and whom I had never heard about. This man had been a seminarian (apostolino) in the house of Poggio San Marcello (Marche). Our phone conversation transformed into a deep and grateful memory of the years of formation spent in that house and the Xaverian fathers that lived there. I am convinced that Family spirit should lead us to cultivate our relationships with the relatives of our deceased brothers. The Address Book (Indirizzario) must help us doing so.
