Torna anche quest’anno l’Iniziativa Missionaria con la consueta estrazione a premi che si terrà domenica 9 giugno a S. Cristo, presso la sede dei Missionari Saveriani di Brescia.

Ecco come viene introdotta l’edizione 2024:

“Mai come quest’anno, in un mondo lacerato dalle tante guerre, la parola PACE ci interpella e scuote le nostre coscienze. C’è bisogno di scelte e gesti concreti, capaci di ridare corpo all’impegno per la pace. Pace a voi è un’espressione irrinunciabile del Vangelo di Gesù, non vaga aspirazione del cuore, ma una precisa scelta di campo nei rapporti fra le nazioni, fra le comunità, nelle famiglie. La Missione, che ci impegna tutti, è annuncio di pace. Con questo spirito riproponiamo l’iniziativa di solidarietà. Sogniamo insieme una nuova umanità per costruire la Pace…”. (Gesuino Piredda sx)

Also this year the Missionary Initiative will be held together with the usual prize drawing. The event will take place on Sunday, June 9^th, in San Cristo, at the house of the Xaverian Missionaries in Brescia.

This is how the 2024 edition is introduced:

“Never before, in a world torn apart by many wars, has the word PEACE challenged us and shaken our consciences like it does this year. There is a need for concrete choices and actions that are capable of giving substance to the commitment to peace. ‘Peace to you’ is a fundamental expression of the Gospel of Jesus; peace is not a vague aspiration of the heart, but a precise stand taken in the relations between nations, between communities, in families. The Mission, which we are all called to, is a proclamation of peace. In this spirit, we propose the ‘solidarity initiative’ once again. In order to build peace, let us dream together of a new humanity.” (Gesuino Piredda s.x.)
