La Facoltà di Scienze Sociali e Politiche dell'Università UPN-VETERAN di Yogyakarta, Indonesia, grazie al cortese interessamento del professore di religione Cattolica Mr. Dhanu e del professor Tegar della Facoltà di Amministrazione e Commercio, ha invitato il nostro confratello p. Manuel Sánchez Gutiérrez a tenere una “conferenza” sul valore e la bellezza del tempo di Avvento nell’esperienza di un cattolico. I giovani che hanno partecipato all’incontro sono stati una sessantina, provenienti da varie regioni della Repubblica Indonesia. Il confratello ha particolarmente sottolineato lo “stile” di Maria come donna capace di attesa per ricevere il dono di Gesù per condividerlo agli altri.   

Thanks to the good offices of Mr Dhanu, professor of Catholic religion, and Prof. Tegar from the department of Managmente and Commerce, the Department of Social and Political Sciences of UPN-VETERAN University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, invited our confrere Fr. Manuel Sánchez Gutiérrez to deliver a speech on the value and beauty of the Advent season in the experience of a Catholic. About sixty young people attended the meeting; they were from various regions of the Indonesian Republic. Our confrere underlined Mary’s “style”: a woman capable of waiting to receive the gift of Jesus and share Him with others.
