“Kubina” è la Scuola che nasce dalla collaborazione e dall’impegno formativo di 20 Congregazioni religiose e missionarie, dove Aspiranti e Postulanti sono accompagnati nei diversi ambiti della formazione di base: Liturgia, Bibbia, Sacramenti, Morale, Storia della Chiesa e della Vita Consacrata, Psicologia… L'anno formativo 2022-2023 è iniziato con 95 studenti e si è concluso con 85.

Il 27 maggio 2023 si è tenuta la cerimonia di chiusura nella parrocchia di San Giuseppe, Bandung, Wonosari, che dista un'ora e mezza da Yogyakarta.

Il primo momento di questa giornata conclusiva è stato quello di affidare alle mani di Maria, Madre di Dio e Madre nostra, gli 85 religiosi Aspiranti e Postulanti, invocando su ciascuno di loro la materna protezione e vicinanza della Vergine Maria nella prossima tappa di formazione. Insieme abbiamo recitato l’Ave Maria in varie lingue locali e internazionali.

Ci siamo, poi, recati in parrocchia per ringraziare il Signore per tutte le benedizioni ricevute in questa esperienza formativa in comune. Un ringraziamento profondo al Signore per il dono della vocazione. P. Antonius Hendrik, maestro di Liturgia, ha invitato tutti a confidare nel Signore Gesù, a seguirlo con coraggio e gioia, a non lasciarsi ingannare da altre proposte come il successo, la ricchezza, il potere e tutte le distrazioni e le tentazioni dei social media. Quel “seguimi” detto da Gesù a Pietro deve essere sempre presente anche nella vita di ciascuno dei partecipanti.

Dopo l’Eucaristia, siamo andati tutti insieme in spiaggia. Lì abbiamo preparato e mangiato una buonissima grigliata di pesce, insieme a tanti giochi e allegre fraternità.

Nel pomeriggio siamo tornati esausti ma contenti, augurandoci reciprocamente ogni bene per la nuova tappa formativa. Ci siamo lasciati assicurando a ciascuno il dono della preghiera e il desiderio di vivere sempre meglio il discepolato nelle nostre famiglie religiose. (Manuel Sánchez Gutiérrez sx)

“Kubina” is a School jointly established and run by 20 religious and missionary congregations, where aspirants and postulants are accompanied through various fields of initial training: Liturgy, Bible, Sacraments, Ethics, history of the Church and of Consecrated Life, Psychology, etc. The formation year 2022-2023 began with 95 students and ended with 85.

On May 27^th, 2023, the closing ceremony was held in the parish of St Joseph, in Bandung, Wonosari, which is located at one-and-half-hour distance from Yogyakarta. In the first moment of that last day, the 85 aspirants and postulants were entrusted to Mary, Mother of God and our Mother. Her maternal protection and closeness was invoked upon each of them as they are about to enter the next stage of formation. We prayed together the Hail Mary in various local and international languages.

We then moved to the parish to thank the Lord for all the blessing He poured down on this common experience of formation. We also thanked the Lord from the depth of our hearts for the gift of vocation. Fr. Anonius Hendik, liturgy teacher, invited everyone to trust in the Lord Jesus, to follow him with courage and joy, without letting other proposals – such as success, richness, power and all kinds of distractions and temptations in the social media – deceive us. That same “follow me”, which Jesus said to Peter, must always be present in the life of each of the participants too.

After Mass, we all went to the beach. There, we prepared and ate a delicious grilled fish, and played lots of games in cheerful fellowship.

We returned in the afternoon, exhausted but happy, and wished each other all the best for the next stage of formation. We departed while assuring each other of the gift of prayer and the desire to live the discipleship in our religious families better and better. (Manuel Sánchez Gutiérrez sx)
